Trespass

Second album by Genesis (1970). Album that became one of the pillars of progressive rock, paving the way for the band to successive records. It wasn’t a bestseller, despite containing big issues, of different styles, a remarkable and complex musical development, more lasting than his previous album -the first-, "From Genesis to Revelation". In the band still were neither Phil Collins, and Steve Hackett. Genesis in the album are Peter Gabriel, Anthony Phillips, Anthony Banks, Michael Rutherford, John Mayhew. In addition to the classic rock instruments, flute, accordion, etc., in addition to the widely used in the progressive rock of the time as the acoustic 12-string, organ and fantastic Mellotron.

The theme that we share is "Visions of Angels", a kind of evocative ballad with different musical sections, heard so pleasant for his musicality and the fantastic voice of Peter Gabriel. It has to hear unhurried manner. 

Segundo disco de Genesis (1970). Disco que los convertiría en uno de los pilares del rock progresivo, abriendo el camino a la banda a los discos sucesivos. No fue un éxito de ventas, a pesar de contener grandes temas, de diferentes estilos, de una elaboración musical notable y más compleja, de más duración que su anterior disco -el primero-, “From Genesis to Revelation”. En la banda aun no estaban ni Phil Collins, ni Steve Hackett. Genesis en el disco son Peter Gabriel, Anthony Phillips, Anthony Banks, Michael Rutherford, John Mayhew. Sumados a los instrumentos clásicos del rock, aparecen flauta, acordeón, etc., además de los muy utilizados en el rock progresivo de la época como las acústicas de 12 cuerdas, órgano y el fántastico Mellotron.

El tema que queremos compartir es “Visions of Angels”, una especie de balada evocadora con diversas secciones musicales, que se escucha de manera placentera por su musicalidad y por la fántastica voz de Peter Gabriel. Se ha de escuchar de manera reposada.
